This forest is also one of the mysterious places. The Amazon is also the most significant area surrounded by green on the world map. This forest is spread over 9 countries in the northern part of the South American continent.
The Spanish Francisco de Orellana was the first person to explore the mysteries of the Amazon with a large army in the middle of the 16th century. He reached its end by following the Amazon River. The written form of his expedition is found in the handwriting of a priest named Zargaval. who was the traveling companion of Francisco de Orellana.
At one stage of the journey, they faced resistance from armed women warriors. The city of gold in Greek mythology is Eldorado, which is the city wrapped in gold. Where armed women warriors are said to be on guard. These women there are called Amazons. Accordingly, Francisco de Orellana named this forest the Amazon.
About 60 percent of this forest is in Brazil. In addition to Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana are immersed in the Amazon wonder. Many areas of this 7 million square kilometers of forest are still untouched by humans. Almost 40 percent of South America is this inaccessible forest. Amazon has half of the world's rainforests. As the size of this wonderful forest is huge, so is the fauna and flora diversity of this forest.
There are only two seasons in the rainforest Amazon. Summer and Monsoon. Garam Pradhan has six months of summer and monsoon in this forest. The hot weather never goes away in this forest. The temperature is almost 80 degrees Fahrenheit and walking here is very difficult. Apart from this, the humidity here is 77 to 88 percent. That's why those who enter the Amazon gasp a little.
The Amazon was created about five million years ago in the Eocene period. There are about 40000 species of trees, 1300 species of birds, 2200 species of fish, 427 species of mammals, 428 species of amphibians, 378 species of reptiles and 4.5 million species of insects, 428 species of amphibians. Also, there are about 3,000 species of fish and aquatic animals in the Amazon River.

Zargaval's writings were about boiling rivers, giant humans, snakes, and trees. Recently, scientists have said that there are rivers in the Amazon jungle that are just boiling, but it would be wrong to say that the water boils like a tugboat in summer. Amazon's giant crocodiles and anaconda snakes are not unknown to anyone. There are electric eels, carnivorous piranhas, and poisonous frogs.
Through it flows the Amazon River which is the life force of this jungle. It is the second-longest river in the world.
The Amazon River supplies a lot of water to the world. About a thousand tributaries join together to form the Amazon River. Where the Amazon River meets the ocean, 4.2 million cubic feet of water is dumped into the ocean every second. During the rainy season, it rises to 7 million cubic feet. About 18,000 cusecs of water per day flow from the Amazon River into the Atlantic Ocean. There the mouth of the river is so wide that an island of great size sinks. Its area is equal to present-day Switzerland. The Amazon River is still a great wonder to mankind. In some places, this river is up to 10 kilometers wide.
It is surprising to hear that there are about 1500 fruits in the Amazon forest, but only about 200 of them are edible. Without knowing the right food, it is impossible to survive here for a moment.
More than three hundred tribes live in the Amazon. The total number of small dance groups is more than 1 million. They are mostly Brazilian. They speak Portuguese, Spanish as well as other languages. Besides, they have their own language.
