what is the purpose of our life? | Dr. Zakir Naik

what is the purpose of our life? Dr. Zakir Naik

It is natural that every human being walking the earth has and has a goal or purpose. But its type can be different. For example, if a student is asked about his career goals, he will say, doctor, engineer, legal expert or scholar, or teacher. If a graduate is asked the same question, he will say a good job or business. But each case has an individual goal or purpose.
Some are politicians and some are public servants and so on. When most people's purpose is worldly, the true believer-Muslim among them will answer, the only goal of life is to gain the pleasure of the Great Master Allah in this temporary life of the world, to attain Paradise on the verge of the Great Deluge in the eternal Hereafter, and to be freed from the indescribable and difficult Hell. That does not mean that one cannot become a doctor, engineer, or lawyer. Rather, whatever profession I accept from you will only be lawful. But we will not compromise on honesty, and integrity while performing professional duties. Because our goal is to gain eternal paradise and escape from eternal hell.
From the point of view of the Hereafter, what should determine the main purpose of a man? And where does maximum success lie. Almighty Allah has made it clear.
Because, generally, everyone's meditation activities, thoughts and thoughts are all based on the very short life span of the temporary world. The number of lives led on the basis of the idea of eternal life hereafter is negligible. Allah Ta'ala says, "Surely Allah has bought from the believers their lives and wealth (in exchange for it) that for them is Paradise." They fight in the way of Allah, then they kill and die. The Torah, the Injil and the Qur'an have promised them the right to do so. And who is better than Allah in keeping his promise? So rejoice in the bargain you have made. And that is the great success' (Surah Tawbah, verse 111).
Elsewhere, Allah Ta'ala says, "The true believers will say, I turn my face to Him Who created the heavens and the earth, and I am not of the polytheists" (Surah An'am, verse 79).

In such a way that the goal is directed towards Allah, then he will have the expectation of attaining the pleasure of Allah in all his worldly activities. There are numerous descriptions in the Holy Qur'an as well as in the Hadith about the goals of the believer. For example, on the authority of Hazrat Anas Ibn Malek (RA), who narrated from the Prophet (PBUH), he said, 'Three things in which you find, he will be able to taste faith: Allah and His Messenger are more to him than anyone else. Be loved, he will love someone only for the sake of Allah and he will never agree to return to disbelief, just as he will not agree to be thrown into the Fire' (Bukhari, Babu Halawatil Imani-15).
Allah Ta'ala warned many years ago that people are constantly leaning toward the world, and they are in trouble. A small Surah of the Holy Quran in which Allah Ta'ala has beautifully described - the time of the oath; Verily (all) people are greatly afflicted ie failures and dwellers of hell; But not those who believe and do righteous deeds and who exhort each other to the truth (on the basis of the Qur'an-Hadith) and admonish patience' (in all circumstances). The explanation of this verse discusses the life of the believer, along with what qualities they will possess.

Ultimately, the goal of every believer's life should be to attain Jannah in the next eternal life by obeying the restrictions of Islam in this temporary world and attaining the pleasure of Allah Almighty. May Allah grant us that Tawfiq. Allahumma Amen.
